Giorgio Manzali
Giorgio Manzali comes from a background in sculpture, painting, and scenography—disciplines he has gradually merged into a unified expressive language.
Since 1980, he has directed part of his work first towards architecture and then towards design, driven by the belief that a painting or a sculpture originates from a project, just as a house, a sofa, a table, or a lamp are all born from a design process.
In this vision, the ensemble of objects and spaces can be interpreted as a composition of form and color—a transition from the irrational to the rational: elements with which people live in close contact and which, in any case, ultimately represent them.
